Zzzzzzzz
So tired, oh so tired! R's schedule is killing me, killing me with lack of sleep. R works the 3:30 pm-midnight or later shift (depending on how much overtime he has to work). I go to sleep fine but wake up twice once he gets home, when he comes in the door and when he crawls into be bed hours later. Before I got married I would get up as soon as my alarm went off, now it goes off 3 times and sometimes I still struggle to roll out of bed. Luckly I'm at a job where coming in 5-10 minutes late is no big deal. I know I could be much more tired if I had a child I had to get up with many times a night, but that's why I don't have children yet so I don't have to get up! :) Sure hope R can get a shift change sometime, but I don't think that's for another 5 years so I'll remain tired until then! I might just have to make him sleep in the guest bedroom during the week for the next 5 years! :) Just more newly married adjustments....blah!

Holiday Cheer!
Sorry that everything is related to Christmas so far on here, but it is the Christmas season so deal with it! :) I'm feeling very much in the holiday mood for two reason today...my mom and I are going to spend all evening making cookies and she bought me the coolest Christmas light necklace that I'm wearing today at work (see above picture)! It's so awesome, it has 3 light modes! How could you not be in the holiday spirit with that on?!?!? Hope everyone is ready for Christmas, 15 days and counting!Thursday, December 6, 2007
Christmas Time
While I was home for lunch I took some pictures of our living room decorated for Christmas! I talked Rusty into getting a real tree since that's what we always had growing up. Looks much better than my office tree! :) Enjoy!
Forgetful
I've been wanting to put up some pictures of my Christmas decorations from home, but I keep forgetting to take the pictures. So, to hold you off until I get that done here is a picture of my cute Christmas tree that sits on my desk to spread some cheer to the co-workers! :) My lovely mother bought it for me at the Dollar Tree and yes those are different color bells for ornaments and glitter! Super cute! Now I just need to tell my co-workers that all gifts are accepted that are placed beneath my tiny tree! Christmas is so fun!Oh, and my first Christmas cards as a married lady are ready to be sent out and they are SO cute! I can't show those on here yet because I don't want to ruin the surprise for some of my lovely friends who read this and will recieve one! Cheers! :)

Beginnings
This is my second attempt to an online journal so I'm sort of a newbie. So I'll introduce myself for those of you who don't know me (if anyone other than my friend "my crazy life" reads this). I'm 26 and still a newlywed of 2 months! It's been an exciting journey so far with ups and downs already, but overall it's been a wonderful ride and I look forward to what's to come! My husband is 28 and a super guy, but I'm suppose to say that because he's my husband. :) Honestly though, he's great and I'm glad we found each other! We live in a small town outside of Athens, GA where he grew up and we're living in his late grandmother's house which I love! We are both really close to our families who live 5 minutes away in both directions. I'm a proud aunt to 3 nieces and a nephew that range from 1-14 years old and I love them to pieces! I think that's the basics so you know me a little better!
Life has been a crazy the past few years! I went from thinking I would never find someone to share my life with to dating someone, getting engaged, planning a wedding and getting married in less than 2 years.....WOW! Even though it's been wonderful it's been such an adjustment!
So that's me and I hope to keep the journal interesting! I met my friend "my crazy life" on a journal site so I'm looking forward to maybe meeting some new people! If you have any marriage advice let me know! :)
